Hey guys, hope somebody can help me.
Turned on the car this morning and the windscreen washer pump isn't firing (can't even hear it), I can feel very slight heat coming from the vents but the fan/blower isn't working. Also noticed that the 12v cigarette lighter has no power coming to it either.
Reading on-line all three seem to be operated by different fuses, is it normal that three fuses could blow at once or am I missing something?
any help/advice appreciated
Paul

Will take you 2 secs to check the fuses and find out
-
Just checked the fuses in day light and they all seem to be ok.
Is there anything else I should be checking?
-
you checked both fuseboxes i guess...
can you do a scan???
-
Ye I checked both boxes. I don't have vcds so I was just checking to see if there was anything obvious before I organised a scan
Cheers,
Paul

In the engine compartment when you remove the fuse box cover look at the wiring tails (with the bolt fixings) and see if any are corroded!

Iirc all these fuses have the same feed in the fusebox on the driver side of the dash, you may have a fault or blown fuse / relay on the fuse board under the bonnet.

Thanks for help lads. Dodgey relay was the culprit. Mechanic had it sorted in jig time and only €10 to replace
