Title: whats the smallest wheel size to fit over the R32 front brakes

Due to snow on its way,what would be the smallest wheel size to fit over the R32 brakes? for the intention of snow tyres ie steel wheels. could i get 17" steelies or do i just pay crazy money for snow tyres for my 18"monzas bearing in mind dont really want to use the monzas at this time of year but they are not mint

You'll struggle to find 17" steels, and then at a reasonable price.

I got some Audi A6 17s for £90 on ebay locally, there's bargains to be had just search for other models that fit too.
