Title: Revo Intake
Post by: 81lly on December 05, 2012, 10:01:21 pm
Not sure if it's a repost but has anyone seen the Revo Intake? Claims 25% less restrictive than its closest competitor.
Huge improvement if it was tested against the ITG but at nearly £420   :stupid: tho it does look good

Got one coming for the vRS so I can give a back to back comparison against the ITG semi copy I have at the moment.  I think this kit will turn out to be the best out there at the moment.

Depends which one you class as the vwr/itg intake?  Maxogen or the enclosed thing?

Main thing with the Revo/pipercross intake is the smooth flow of air by not using loads of joiners.

yeah i found the evoms as good as the itg maxogen but both filters had faults with the way they tried to seperate them from the hot air in the engine

Looked decent in the flesh.  I'd have issues with the heat shield not creating a 'sealed area' as I have a tiny battery.

Look forward to seeing some independent testing. More performance products to choose from is always a goo thing
