Had an absolute nightmare today had my car in to have the pre cat removed but they could not get the engine cover off to access the top bolt to remove it from the turbo, they have took them off before and not had issues we were pulling from the rear like all the guide says is this a common thing or has some tool glued my engine cover on?

If you can get a tool into the mounts then can be turned free. Is any of it coming away?
I find it best to start bottom right, top right, top left... don't put any pulling pressure on bottom left, it will snap.
Grease them when you put 'em back, makes it a million times easier next time.

None of them are free I probably could get a tool to the 2 closest to the grill It did crack a bit but not on the air box areas and I've bonded it back together, I think I'm going to order a p flow induction kit then if it smashes Ive got no worries but I hate the look of the bare engine do the mk6 engine covers fit?

do the mk6 engine covers fit?
On a mk5, no...

Has anyone made one fit?
