Trying to find the best route for the wiring for my Air ride but can seem to fund a sensible grommet to feed the wires through?
Just need to get 2 wires to the battery terminals
Any suggestions?
Pics would be great

take the battery out and thier is some gromets behind there
-
Yep, as above, right behind the battery is where there is a grommet with the main harness going into the interior.
-
can i do it without disconnecting battery? dont want to lose revo settings :(
-
I rooted my pipe for my boost guage through that grommit, can be done without removing the battery but is a PITA, just make sure you have plenty of light.

it'll be a nightmare without taking the battery out pal. I wired my meth kit through there.

Thats my weekend planned then  thanks guys

Good luck! Shame to loose the settings :( although your getting it done soon are you not? Or just got it done?

Had it done Wednesday

and the grommet that you need to feed the cable through:

I couldn't get back into the p/s footwell. However it is easy to get to.
Remove the tray under the glovebox, once that's out the way you can look right upto the left corner high. Use a wire coat hanger and push it through from the inside, the wire comes out just below the battery. Easy - took 5 minutes to do
-
Just run some long lengths of wire from the battery terminals to the normal wiring. There's hardly any current being used with everything switched off so thin wire should be ok. by doing that, your car is always connected to the batttery, it's temporarily just by a thinner wire.
-
Whereas I would say use a thick a wire as you can (I used 4 gauge)
-
I know what you mean, just thinner wire is easier to find/attach.
-
Going to have a go tomorrow, thanks for your input. Worse case scenario, il try adding another battery on jump leads and remove standard battery
-
All done, bit of a pain, I taped wires to a thin rod and poked them through from inside the passenger footwell in the end.
Thanks again
