has anyone fitted one of these and got any reviews ?

Garbage.

You need to install a short shift linkage to make a real difference.

i will be doing that aswell but i want a shorter gear stick but didnt want to just cut it down

The item you listed will not fit a Mk5 GTI anyway.

oh yeh so it doesnt :( anybody know where i can get one to fit the mk5 ?
