i just got my R32 Highline Clocks back from Kalu today and fitted them.
looking awesome, but going through the menus at first the LIGHTS AND VISION was not enabled. this soon displayed after a little drive around. looking on this page http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/a5/multifunction-display-VW.htm (http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/a5/multifunction-display-VW.htm)
the Convenience menu is not available on my car. also the MENU button on the MFSW does nothing
Can i get that menu? do i have to change anything? how come the button is not working?
i have a 2005 GTI with 2007/8 MFSW Buttons and ive changed the Can Gateway (if that makes any difference i dont know) for use with my RNS510
Does the mirror down on reverse option only appear with the folding mirrors as mine are just electric, not folding. is that something to do with the window motor units?
i also want to change the door locking after move off. (to lock the doors)
any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
Thom

The menu button is dependent on SW that is installed on the cluster
lights and vision
convenience
are only available with highline versions of CCM & CECM

thanks for that info. so my next question is - how, where and what (part no) do i get to use those options, or is it programmable with vagcom anyway? if i have lights and vision, does that mean i have high line CCM but not CECM?

lights and vision is cecm so if you have this bonus
convenience is ccm this unit is tucked away behind the glove box and is quite an easy change, you will need some one with vag com though

I need to update both of mine to get the better options :sad1:
