Title: Std Gti and Ed30 splitters.

Forgive my ignorance but is there a difference between the two other than colour coding, I've looked but cant see anything, is it really subtle or am I being a bit numb here??????

A difference in shape (design) for both OEM fronts and rears. Also the GTI's fronts (and rears) are black.

I would post you pics but must dash....  I'm sure someone will help you by posting pics.

About £200 difference as well for and ED30 one :laugh:

There's obvious differences in the rears I know but I'm really struggling to see exactly whats different about the fronts......other than price :signLOL:

Easier to see when next to each other but in short here are the differences

GTI - is a 2 part splitter, smaller centre part that attaches to the larger part which clips and screws to the bumper. Made of black plastic.

ED30 - 1 piece, same sort of shape but is deeper than GTI and also comes in primer from factory (and hugely more expensive - more than twice the combined cost of the GTI splitter parts)

Many people do what I did and colour code the main GTI splitter part and leave the centre piece black (same goes for the Ed30 version - people 2 tone the paint)
