I bought the 6000k led sidelights from the link below. They work perfect and are very bright. But this lasts 5 seconds!
They then turn off and I get the light out on the dash.
Is there any way to get around this? Apart from getting new bulbs! Or any coding through VCDS?

Yeah :) There not bright enough to be blinding to other road users because of their size :happy2:

These look good! Got any pics in action?

HI
OK, this is a dead easy one...... I got small xenon colour bulbs to pop in to the side lights...... how the b*gger do you get the side light bulbs out!?? My hands are like shovels and won't fit/grab the tiny bulb holders well..... Do you need to twist them, or just pull them backwards/out? Whilst I here, how to I change my front fog light bulbs too? Do I have to take the under carrage off and then access the holders from behind, or do I undo the small hex screw at the front and pop out the panel holding the light!
LED's are cool, but after having constant canbus issues on my old BMW, I am Xenon in colour only now.....
-
Just pull im afraid. I used a pair of pliars in the end on a cold night. Watch out you dont pull the wires though!

side light bulbs need a pair of snipe or long nosed pliers Get a torch so you can see what your doing
A third hand would be helpful
fogs are accessed by the fog grill which iirc has just the one torx screw and a few clips :happy2:
