How can you tell if your car has highline a CECM or not?
-
vagcom

vagcom
Do you know what option(s) you chose or is it pretty straight forward once hooked up?
-
Address 9 will tell you which version you have :happy2:
-
Is there any other way apart from vagcom?
-
I took it to my local garage and they gave me the following info:
3C0 937 049 E
Bordnetz-sg
H37
Does any of that show that my CECM is highline?

Does your car have fog lights as standard?
If it does then you have a highline CECM. Some are 23 Byte and some are 30 byte :happy2:
-
just curious but what difference would the byte size mean??
-
Just limits what you can enable in vagcom. 30 byte you can have cornering fogs, etc

It has fog lights, but I dunno if a previous owner put them on or if they are fitted as standard.
