After getting my highline clocks and coded last weekend, my next thing to do will be fitting my polar fis. I just have a few things I want to check.
1. I have highline clocks but not a mfsw. Will it still work?
2. I'm pretty sure I have a K can gateway. Will the polar fis be ok on this. Iv heard of freezing during journys?

1. Yes, you will use the controls on the end of the wiper stalk to access and navigate the fis
2. Sorry don't know

try it with the k and see what happens, if you need a newer one send me a PM

Try your gateway.
fwiw I use a F gateway and have no issues.

Im pretty sure it's a k. I brought it from urself when I got my rcd510 as I was having battery drain issues.
Are there any other know probes when running polar with k version gateways???

Oh, we'll I defo brought a gateway from you. What would you have given me if I was having probs with battery drain after fitting a 3rd gen stereo??

it would have been a 7N0 version

Ok cool, I'm guessing this will be ok with a polar fis+ ?

Before you install it in your car, flash it with the latest 0.3.1 firmware.
If you have a mk5 gti then you want the red dot firmware from the update site as, supposedly, it irons out any issues when using a 7N0 gateway.
