This is the second time I've ordered something from Awesome GTI, waited and waited... 7 days pass, no follow up from them... I get in touch, to be told "oh it's not instock and will take 10 days+ to get new stock to us" (you know full well they've just placed an order when you've contacted them)... so probably a good 20 day wait all in. :fighting:
They are very expensive to boot, not sure why I use them.
Any decent UK alternatives?
-
What products have you ordered from them? We may be able to offer alternatives from that. Also ring up and check stock availability :happy2:
-
Had to wait 3 month's for my R32 style exhaust from them when they had stated it would be 2 week's... :surprised:
-
Ordered some draught 42 designs shifter bushes from them on friday. Were here on tuesday.

me too!
have never had a problem with any mail order stuff i have had from them, its their dyno i dont trust!
-
Although it may seem like it, my intention wasn't to tarnish AGTI cred, but I really think they should employ a stock control system on their Magento store.
If I order something online, I want to forget about it until its delivered, not have to go chasing the store and then be told I'm in for an epic wait... it just leaves a bad taste... once bitten, twice shy... twice bitten: I fook off elsewhere, for good.
-
Mail order I've never had a problem until now.
Ordered 2 things in the last week and one came and had to go back to be sorted namely a APR fuel pump.
The second wasn't the correct part number that I ordered.
You also need to pay the return postage cost and they won't dispatch the replacement until they receive this one back!
I've also had issues for mapping. Had to go 3 times to get the correct map loaded on.
-
Ive found the same with them, thats why I tried GNJ when I ordered my neuspeed cant fault them at all ordered on monday evening came tuesday
-
I've used awesome for nearly 3 years and always been very happy with their service.
It's just the last 6 months or so,
I've lost all confidence in them.
-
...but I really think they should employ a stock control system on their Magento store.
Been looking at their source code?
FWIW I doubt Awesome do a huge amount of business through their website, and APIs that integrate a website with an existing stock management system can cost tens of thousands of pounds. It's probably not financially prudent, however pissing off customers who do use the website isn't either.

Iirc they should refund the return shipping costs. Search distance selling regulations.

Had my golf 1.9tdi mk5 remapped by them, felt exactly the same afterwards with no power gain at all.
My dad then had his a4 2.0tdi 170 mapped by them, it gained 4bhp according to r techs dyno, i took mine back and got half my money back so that was a waste, since been remapped elsewhere and dynod at a 47bhp increase.
My dads was remapped again to 210bhp after awesome a 174bhp.
Never ever using them again, on the other hand though
My mate got his tt 225 mapped there with massive improvements more recently
-
I've just bought a sh!t load of suspension stuff from them on Black Friday - saved a bundle and had no issues.
-
I am having the same problem with awesome, ordered some climate rings a month ago now and I am still waiting.
when I ordered them it said in stock, a week later I looked on the site again and it still says in stock but in the small print underneath it said that items that may not be in stock on the day of order will be shipped between 7-14 days ?
I e-mailed them - no reply so I called them,,, it turns out my item is STILL not in stock and the reason why,,,, you are gonna love this and it will answer a lot of queries as to why you guys are waiting weeks and weeks for your orders.
they told me that when they make a sale and the item IS NOT IN STOCK they will NOT order the item from their supplier until they have a minimum amount of orders for that particular supplier,,, ie,,, they need something like 50 items before they put their order in,,,,, WTF.
this is now the way this company runs,,, and all the guy said was - we can refund you if you want -,,, ridiculous way to run a company and if I can help it I wont use them again.
basically if you EVER have to use them then make sure for the life of you that it says something like 2 day delivery beside the item you are after on their web page or you could be waiting indefinitely like me.
hope this helps :happy2:

I didn't bother putting it on here before now but I've recently had a bad experience with them too.
Rang to get prices for big brake kits etc and I rang them on Black Friday around dinner time, they asked if they could ring me back with a price when Tarox got back to them and said it'd only be 10mins. After 2 calls to them that afternoon for updates, one the following day and then once on their status on Facebook I still got nowhere and told excuses after excuses. After a few days I sent a message to their inbox on Facebook and Mark the Director got back to me and assured me it would be chased up that evening, I presumed he meant the following day so left it 24 hrs and still had nothing. I then went on a training course for a week, contacted them again and they had forgotten what I'd even asked for by this point so I said I'm fed up of chasing them up constantly and that I wanted to leave it now. After Mark practically begged me to give them a chance to redeem themselves I gave in and the next day at 10am I got a phone call off the sales manager with prices to everything I asked for and they e en sent everything to me in an email 30 mins later as requested.
Ok service in the end but I wouldn't expect anything less and won't be using them again due to me constantly chasing them up and getting excuses but nothing done, even all the way up to the top of the ladder.
I do also think maybe they had just given me excuses when I bought and had everything fitted for stage one on my ED30 and WALK too. Got given a quote but when I came to pay it was £000's more than quotes, I was then told that they hadn't included VAT in the quote, fair enough I suppose but only if they'd told me it was plus VAT. I then had faults with it for the following 6 weeks and they couldn't figure it out but swore blind it had nothing to do with the map even though it only started happening when that had been done.
I just need to find myself a new local tuner near Warrington/Wigan/Manchester area really. If anyone has any suggestions then please PM me :)
-
as said before, not very good service
that's me done with awesome, cant be doing with all the chasing rubbish
ps,,, forgot to say,,, I requested a refund a week ago as they said I could if I wanted, guess what,,,, no refund yet ffs
another customer = gone
RIP awesome gti

If this is true, and I tend to believe it is; it's a hideous way of conducting an online business.
Re: The stock control on Magento, check the extensions lib, iirc there's quite a few fully featured ones for around £600. A full integration for something like Awesome could topple into the thousands quite easily though.
Having said that, Awesome are putting products up as in-stock when they know full well they don't have any... which kind of makes the whole thing a farce. Employing this method of commerce may get you a few suckers (me) buying some more products, but your going to make them p!ssed, never to return.
Is someone at Awesome trying to fook up their company? :rolleye:

The Prices and Charges (Tax - Inclusive Statements) Order, 1973 requires that all retail prices marked on goods or prices displayed or quoted at the retail level and all charges for services displayed or quoted should be tax-inclusive (e.g. VAT) except where it is intended solely for a business customer.

Ordered last night the 42DD bushes which were according to the site in stock and dispatch 1-2 days. Got home tonight and they are not in stock and will be 3-4 weeks before they can send out. Have asked for them to refund money and I will have a look elsewhere.
This is my first order so have no experience either way of the company. Will shop around over next day couple of days and see what can be found as I hate waiting for anything that is in stock and paid for.
-
For 42DD (Draft Design) parts why don't you just order direct from them. This was what I done when I bought my oil catch can kit. I contacted Awesome GTI and 42DD and it worked out cheaper for me to order from 42DD even though it was coming from the US.
Didn't have to wait to long for it to turn up either.

I agree and I swear that's what the sales guy told me, mad mad way to run a business :stupid:
as the other guy says also - he ordered and 1-2 days delivery then 24hrs later 4 weeks,,,, just makes no sense,,, I am going to phone them tomorrow about my missing refund and I am actually going to ask them if they are trying to fook up their company as they are pissing a lot of people off
-
Maybe there is something weird going on....
they havent updated there xmas sale today - 14th is still blank.
-
I seen the awesome member on here yesterday and fired of a pm asking him wtf was going on,,, he never answered that question but assured me my part will be in stock next week !!!
amazing I have to pm through here and the last 3 e-mails I have sent to awesome have all went unanswered ????
will be my last purchase from them, cant be doing with that kind of rubbish tbh
-
I contacted them on their Facebook wall as I found it got answered sooner possibly due to them realising all of their fans/customers would see if and when they replied
-
I've only ordered from them twice the first time my laminx came within a few days but the the 42draft oil sender relocation kit took 2-3 months to get to me due to being out of stock, and this time I've ordered a forge quick shift and ecs aluminium heater rings which I've had an email that the ecs rings are out of stock :(
-
been speaking to awesomeallan I think his name is and he is going to look into these issues for us and apologises for any inconvenience.
I will let you guys know what the general outcome is with regards to awesomes stock, or lack of sometimes :happy2:

Hopefully he can look at my refund. I know I am probably being a bit impatient but sent e mail on Thursday and Friday requesting it and have not even had the courtesy of a reply to say they are dealing with it. No more business from me.
-
lol check this, the guy said yesterday on here that my item will be in stock next week so happy days I will finally get my climate rings,
NOT
after no replies to my previous e-mail on getting a refund it was put back into my paypal account today lol, just as the stock was to come in :stupid:
man I tell you I have had it with them, absolutely no more business from me
f@@k awesome gti, I am taking my business elsewhere
-
19 days in, still no parts :indifferent: I could've ordered direct from the states quicker and cheaper :nerd:
-
I placed an order on Friday for a ECS Dogbone mount insert and got an email today telling me that it was not in stock but will be shipped as soon as it arrives,w based on previous comments on here I have just asked for a refund and will look elsewhere.

I've just ordered from Awesome today.
Dealt with Hassan and was very impressed with the service I've received so far.
Very helpful and friendly.
-
Awesome Al is a nice chap too - but it's not really about their politeness; more about saying stuff is in stock when it isn't, then keeping you waiting for months for delivery :( I know everyone's experience is different, but stock control should be high on their priority now if they don't want to annoy customers.
-
Hassan told me straight away it wasn't in stock and it would be 1 week to me.
On the website though it doesn't say not in stock so if ordering online it wouldn't arrive when expected.

as previouslly said their politeness is fine, its just the stock issues,
although hassan was very nice to you if you HAD just ordered from the web site as you said you would have been let down again.
interesting to find out if you get your item in a week
dont think you will but for your sake hope you do
keep us posted :happy2:

Thats cause Awesome are Neuspeed's UK agent so anything Neuspeed has to come through them even as a middle man.

if yours is a golf you can fit it yourself using a how-to fairly easily, prices are different for every car so have a look on their website. My scirocco needs both stalks and the module :sad1:
-
they did me a deal on a p-flow and free delivery within a few days! great service for me!

they do seem to offer a good service, it's just the stock issues where the problem is
-
mine is going down the last week in april for clutch and the s3 intercooler which they pricepromised for me

Well tomorrow it's a week since I ordered so I phoned for an update today.
They haven't received it yet and are contacting APR to find out where it is!!!
I've said I wanted it by the end of the week so lets see if that deadline is met.

sorry to hear that mate but expected it, you see what we are having a problem with here and hence the thread.
at least they said your part is actually in transit
im gonna assume you will not get it by the end of the week and you will not get a phone call or e-mail telling you anything unless you chase them again.
keep us posted buddy and good luck :happy2:
-
Well I chased Awesome up again today and got a guy called Adam who told me the part still hadn't arrived yet.
While I was holding on the phone he rang the supplier APR in this case, The supplier said the part was sent to Awesome last week but Awesome hadn't received it.
Anyway Adam said he was going to chase them up again this afternoon.
Got a phone call about 3pm from Adam saying I would receive it tomorrow.
I then received a tracking number by text stating delivery tomorrow.
Glad he went the extra mile to sort me out. :happy2:

that worked out, wish they had treated the rest of us like that and threads like this wouldnt be here.
my problem was i ordered the part, it was in stock, then it wasnt in stock, i waited and waited with no replies, then i was told by awesome they would not order the part from the supplier until they had a minimum order quantity as per their policy, i couldnt beleive it, i was also told it may be a few weeks.
i waited for ages with unanswerred e-mails and phone messages as well.
spoke to a membor of gti staff on here and he said it would be in stock next week, i thought great i finally get my part, then a couple of days before it was coming into stock they processed a refund for me out of the blue !!!
had to buy elsewhere
not great and a complete balls up
glad you got sorted though
-
I've bought a few bits from them and had no real issues, only one was I bought and paid for a tshirt (not massive I know) and it wasn't in stock unlike what the website said, so about an hour after paying a chap rang me up and sorted something else out, thought this was pretty good service and everything I've bought always arrived a few days later, would be pretty annoyed if that balls up you've had happened to me though at least it's resolved I guess
-
I was going to go to awesome so a remap but all these bad reviews of customer service is putting me off.
-
I have always found the chaps at Awesome very helpful and have never had a problem with stock when have ordered something.
-
Not sure why I put faith in Awesome, again, but they've put me on a long wait for some 42 Draft bushes... I waited a week, then contacted them, took them 3 days to contact back, to say there will be a 14 day wait from today!! So nearing a month then, FFS! :indifferent:
I could've easily bought them straight from the states and received in half the time and paid less too... so why am I paying Awesome tax for them to do the same!!?
Does anyone have the P/N for the standard gear linkage bushes from VW?
-
May i ask what year your GTi is? I ordered (telephone) a set of 42DD bushings for my 05 GTi last Wednesday, they arrived on Saturday, and my THS front engine mounts arrived today (direct from THS actually as Awesome had none in stock)!
-
You got my set :fighting: joking :happy2:
Car is MY2006 6 speed GTI
-
well they never mentioned about only 1 set being available tbh!! The thing that i'm asking myself is whether they will actually fit my car, being a 2005 GTi, the label says 2006, so confusing!!?? Apologies if i have your set mate!! :sad1:
-
awesome were very good when dealing with my 42 DD bushes - speak to Mike - very helpful.
All side to side links are the same from 2002-2007 I think so as long as you have the right kit for the front 2 back the side to side should fit (unless you have a Forge shortshifter as they then dont fit as the diameter of the hole is 8mm and the Forge pin 10mm - doh)
-
Hi Andy, ive opted against the forge shortsh*ter, so just having the bushings fitted! You mention the word 'kit', but all they sent me were 2 sets of bushings, each set with different diameter holes, is this all that is needed to fit??
Cheers
-

Haha, not your fault bud; although I did order on the Tuesday evening, which is odd because you ordered on the Wednesday... you got telephone preference me thinks
As berg says they were the same up until 2007, so yours should be cool... I'm doing mine as a fault finding issue more than anything, as I have a lot of lateral play of the stick whilst in gear. I'll try some standard bushes to see if it solves the prob.
Let me know what they are like though mate :happy2:
-
Certainly will do! Heh, if I dont like em i'll sell em to you for only £30, lol!!

I bought some from Awesome last year, they didnt fit my early 2066 '55' plate gti though so I have them sitting in the shed.
I was confused as to why they didnt fit to be honest.
Happy to sell them on to you if you think they would fit.
-
hhmmm, can i ask what part number you have that doesn't fit plse??
-
hhmmm, can i ask what part number you have that doesn't fit plse??
they are in the shed so will need to check later on tonight!
-
very odd they don't fit, because as others have eluded to on this thread, it was only in 2007 that the shape changed (i think). I am hoping that others here who have a pre-2007 GTi can confirm if that MY-06 42dd bushings should and do fit!?

and red is still the fastest colour.

Thanks mate, if I can get a refund from Awesome, I'll defo have them off you... if you can get that part number later on (perhaps a cheeky photo :), that would be great, cheers

yeah thats all you need steve fitting them is he?
-
Yeah, Steve and co are fitting them, amongst a multitude of other things! That said, theres a suggestion above in this thread that the MY 06 bushings wont fit the 2005 GTi's, just waiting on confirmation of the part number bushings he has!? I mean, if these dont fit mine, that just leaves the MK IV 42dd bushings, but looking on Awesome's website, the Mk 4 and early Mk 5 bushings look exactly the same, if the photos are representitive of course!?

Sometimes Awesome GTI can be very good at what they do, but on a lot of other occasions they are useless.
So tired of the way they deal with stock issues, if they have it then the service is fine,
on the other hand if they dont have it -
1 - they dont tell you on the web site
2 - they dont tell you after you have ordered it
3 - they DO NOT like to answer e-mails
4 - they take ages to do refunds mainly because they dont really answer e-mails
5 - their attitude stinks when it comes to explaining where your item is.
Such a poor service, i mean ffs we are all busy enough in our own lives without spending time after time chasing these guys about for our item's,,,, a good way of f**king a companies reputation up by letting your bread and butter customers down time and time again.
I still remember the excuse they gave me on the phone a few months ago ( as listed earlier on this thread ) i was chasing my item like mad as it should have been delivered,,, no answer to e-mails etc etc, i finally lost the plot and called them only to be told the following.
Yes the item is still showing as available status on the web site, although we dont actually have any we CAN GET THEM
I was also told repeatedly that my item would be here soon as it was due in from the supplier :jumping:
After getting this answer every time i pushed some more and was told that my item would not be arriving any time soon as they NEEDED A MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY before putting the order in to the supplier - WTF -
Why was i not bl**dy told this at the beginning,,, i think i waited in total around 2 months :sad1:
Finally i asked for a refund on the phone only for the guy to tell me they would at last be arriving in their warehouse in 3 days :jumping:
So i waited in :jumping: for my item and guess what, instead of my item i got a refund :stupid: :stupid: :stupid:
WWWWWWWWW-TTTTTTTTT-FFFFFFFFF, i mean honestly what a bunch of muppets.
Got so fed up with the whole thing i have now washed my hands of this company.
AWESOME GTI more like AWESOME GTF :booty: :booty: :booty:

I can understand why Awesome have the website setup like it is (Offer loads of products with little or no stock), less overhead and it will do well in the SERP's, BUT it's business suicide when its so hit and miss for customers to order and receive via their website.
Unfortunately for me at least, it's definitely the last time I will order from them... if parts are coming from the States I may as well order them direct, saving money and time it seems.

Yeah have to agree with you, thankfully we have sites like this forum where we can all help each other out and weed out the people / companies who are taking the p*ss.
Another problem i had around this time was with a company called dub monkeyz
I bought a DRL kit,,, took ages and to cut a long story short i had to get my credit card company to retreive my money.
They have closed down by the looks of it but still have an active web site taking your cash, when you pay through their checkout it goes to some credit card verification site who are reputable AND DO PROTECT YOU so you think you are safe as i have seen this company hundreds of times.
Trouble is the screen flickers when you do this and what you do not realise is that they USED TO use this card verification site when they where ligit, but since closing down they have set it up in a way that it still looks like you are going through the verification, when the screen flickers it is actually disconnecting you from it and dub monkeyz is then getting your cash directly to them.
You think you have just had the sale verified but in reality you dont.
Thankfully i paid by credit card and i got my money back, if it was debit card i might not have.
What utter crooks
here is a link to their site
http://www.dubmonkeyz.co.uk/
this problem was resolved 3 months ago, i dont know if the company is fixed now or it is still the same, they certainly still have an active home page.
My credit card company where also unsuccesfull in contacting them,,,, be carefull guys
:happy2: :happy2: :happy2:

Hmm, a lot of scaremongering going on here guys! In fairness we can only go on r own personal experiences I guess! As Berg said, it mite make a difference who u talk to, which shouldnt be the case of course!!
I ordered 06 42dd bushings last Wed, got them Saturday, and my THS engine mounts arrived today, albeit from THS directly! I did stress when initially speaking to them that I needed these parts by the end of this wk tops, I made them give me their word on this!!
Ref my 42dd bushings, if they dont fit my 05 GTi, thats my problem, not theirs, but yes, all these negative reviews make me think that either yr experiences are in the minority or ive just been extremely lucky!?

Just thought I would add my 2p to this.
I've used Awesome GTI a fair bit, all be it for my TDI. So far I've had nothing but great service from them if i'm honest.
Being new to the modding scene they have been very patient with me and answered my questions to a level that instilled a lot of confidence in them for me.
Personally I am happy to keep trading with them until such a time they do something wrong by me then I will pursue it down the right route. Rather than throw a hissy :P
As someone who works for a world leading electronics firm that is public facing, I can safely say that a lot lot more people will be more than happy to complain about something rather than give praise. Often the percentage of people who have problems / complaints is minuscule in comparison to "happy customers".
Just thought I would throw that out there.

Hey mate a forum is for airing your views, good and bad.
I appreciate your input, as you should appreciate mine, it certainly isn't a "hissy" to wait a month or two for a part that should be in stock for delivery! It's poor bloody service mate. If I can't express that on here, then what's the point!?

Of course I appreciate your input and point of view, I think you may misunderstood my post.
I certainly wasn't saying you threw a hissy yourself, based on what you have said you have good reason to be "miffed"
The point I was trying to make, badly I might add. Is that people should not be so quick to complain and moan or at least not broadcast it anyway. There should be more of a balance in terms of highlighting good service in equal proportion to bad service.
For example how often do you go to the shops, get served by someone nice and leave feeling valued as a customer and then go home and tell the mrs ? You dont, you would however go home and tell the mrs if someone was rude to you.
Im summary, by all means we should highlight bad service, but we should reward/praise good service too !
I may be slightly biased as in my role I do sometimes encounter complaints but it is a rarer occasion for me to be hearing a report of good service.
I hope that made sense, if any offence was caused by my post then I apologise, its getting late and hey its a forum not a written will !

Had a read of the replies, as you both say opinions are needed,
We can only voice our own experiences and that is what forums are for, for example i have just posted a thread warning about fraudulant activity regarding dudmonkeyz of which my credit card company have confirmed - yet they are still taking peoples cash with no product deliveries - so forums are very usefull.
For Awesome to take my cash with no stock, no intention of orderring the item until they have a minimum number without informing me and keeping me waiting for months on end with no replies to e-mails is ridiculous, very bad service indeed.
If i dealt with them and everything was hunky dorey then i would be defending them here - but we can only go on our own experiences and it shouldnt need for us to telephone them up and get cast iron gaurantees for an item to be delivered in time when this is something their web site said would happen anyway,, this is why we buy from the advertised area in the first place.
I dont want to be chasing every company i order from to make sure i get an item when that's what i paid for in the first place.
From what i can see regarding awesome, they seem great if you get the right person dealing with your order AND THEY HAVE STOCK, what pisses me off is their site says it has stock when it doesnt and you then wait ages for the item with no replies to e-mails,,,, this is very bad customer service.
This is just my opinion on the company but bare in mind my reasons ARE factual unfortunatelly. :drinking:
-
Well I have used awesome twice now both times shocking service they never ring you back or let you know lead times, if something is out of stock I am prepared to wait I am not a spoilt child lol!! I do expect a courtesy call to let you know the problems they have with my order. I am still waiting on a roll bar that they have supplied once already incorrect.
That have taken mine back after I sprayed it which is good but I questioned numerous times before I painted it was it the correct part, when I came to fit it wasn't.
I think that have too much going on and are loosing there Customer service quality.
-
Awesome have FAR too many things going on, these are some of the companies they direct:
BreakerBroker / Awesome Ltd. / Dubkorps EU / PartsBucket
Using the same staff for all, it's not the staff's fault, I've always found them very friendly, but I think they are stretched too thinly; it needs addressing, either with more staff or more efficient stock control.
They really could be Awesome with these things sorted.
-
Not sure why I put faith in Awesome, again, but they've put me on a long wait for some 42 Draft bushes...
I bought some from Awesome last year, they didnt fit my early 2066 '55' plate gti though so I have them sitting in the shed.
I was confused as to why they didnt fit to be honest.
Happy to sell them on to you if you think they would fit.
Thanks mate, if I can get a refund from Awesome, I'll defo have them off you... if you can get that part number later on (perhaps a cheeky photo :), that would be great, cheers
Not sure what what the exact part number is but from the packaging:
42-455-007
mk5 6S MY07

haha!! god knows!! £20 delivered to your door if you want them?

Thats the reason why they didnt fit yr 55 GTi, you and Camfollower both need the 06 bushings surely!? :-o

When I bought them the 3 options, as is on the awesome website now, were not available.

I had a cambelt change there a few years ago with my old GTI, and they didnt notice a severe miss-fire.
Took it to an other well known tuner for a RR run and they noticed as soon as they turned the key.
Not saying A-GTI caused it however they sure didnt notice it, despite having the car for 6 hours

Hey guys and girls
I do appreciate your comments and apologise to those who we have got things wrong for especially due to waiting for parts, the whole team is working hard behind the scenes to make this better, it is impossible to stock everything we offer but it should be and will be better to obtain accurate dates and better communication.
I am giving you all my direct details if you should have a future problem or issue where i can be contacted via email by phone or directly to my personal mobile.
We do get it right most of the time but mainly we only hear when things go wrong, in this game things will always go wrong but how we deal with the situation is how we will be judged. May i just say thanks to the people supporting us with kind words not just on this thread but elsewhere on the Forum.
There are big plans in place at this stage and some exciting times ahead and with that will come some complications however this is why i am giving you my details so i can try and resolve this.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond Mark.
However, this:
It is impossible to stock everything we offer
Then simply don't offer it.
Or at least be up front and say it's going to take at least 4 weeks for delivery... yes, you would lose a sale, I wouldn't order it, but at least it's communicating the lead time and allowing people to make an informed decision. You would then still keep customers happy, I would return for other products that are in stock; but the way it is at the moment, I have no idea if an item is going to be here tomorrow or in 2 months, so I cannot plan to fit it.
I will say, that I've just recently used one your subsidiary companies (unknowingly) and have been very happy with delivery time and excellent response from staff (tbf staff have never been the problem, always helpful and courteous; it's just the stock issue, once that's addressed... happy days :happy2:).

yeah what he said above :drinking:

Respect to Mark for that comment

Personally I've only ever had great service from awesome and I've been using them for a number of years and have recommended others to them and they have been happy too. Obviously just my experiences but they have all been good and I think marks statement goes some way to confirm commitments to customer support.

Respect to Mark for that comment
Yeah fair play to him :congrats: :congrats:

I ordered a Neuspeed induction kit last Tuesday lunch , rung them Monday asking what the hell was going on , oy to b told they didn't have any in when I paid and should be in this week ? You guys are quite right and i do not wish to enter an argument about products being available to order but not actually on the shelf, I was the UK Field Sales Manager for KONI for several years and I know that not one supplier carried KONI on the shelf but was available from me at KONI UK yet they still advertised it otherwise they wouldnt sell it.
However i totally agree with what your saying and both Jim (MD) and i are working hard behind the scenes with a new computer system and also building the business to house more available stock concentrating firstly on our overseas imports.
We currently hold in excess of over £180,000 in stock and are looking to expand or at least hold more of our high volume demand stock, we dont get it right every time this is true but we are here till 9 pm at nights trying to make things better.
We are also concentrating on customer notifications of order delays which to me is priority for you the customer, i will also be making some internal staff changes to try and make this happen quicker.

Appreciate your in depth reply Mark considerring you are obviouslly a very busy man.
Hope things get better on your end and obviouslly someone in your role within the company shouldnt be running around making sure a parcel goes out - that's what the staff are for but sounds like you are doing your best over there.
I for one on the strength of your honesty will try Awesone again but obviouslly bearing in mind it will take you a little while to get things running smoother with staff etc.
I have ordered from you before and got item very fast - great service, its just when it aint in stock and the web site says it is - then no replies from e-mails at all, just seems like from a customers end that nobody is staying on top of things.
Anyway thank you very much for your honesty and im sure a lot of members reading your reply will see you are doing your best to get things smoother
Regards :drinking:
