Title: RNS 510 SD card slot issues.

Hi all

Been trying to get my sd card to work in my car today I've got an RNS 510, and when i just click in the SD card the unit doesn't see its there but if I push it right in and keep pressure on it, it works fine but as soon as i take my finger off it no longer sees the card. is this a common problem and is there any chance there is an easy remedy?

Have you tried another sd card?

Does it click when you put it in the click when you take out like putting it in a PC, does it have a bit of spring tension on it, I've seen these play about usually push in out many times till the mechanism holds it in

Yeah it doe click I must have had it in and out 100 times over the past 2 days and tried another card today and its still the same :(

take the unit out and see if the ribbon cable is connected properly

i can get spare parts for the rns
