Title: eBay downpipe?
Post by: ell.s on December 16, 2012, 11:15:30 am
Has anyone had any experience with these cheap ebay downpipes, looking at buying one, will the decat bring the EML on?

Youll need the ECU mapping to take this into account... otherwise you will get the EML on.

They just need a decent flexi welding into them then they will be good.

Customer supplied one to me and I welded this into it:

Original flexi is braided internally and can shrink with heat

New ilok longer flexi.  These can take silly heat before having issues

To mate a Milltek cat back to a standard downpipe, you need a reducer. If this downpipe mates to a standard cat back then you will need a reducer for the Milltek

Dont bother had mine for less than a year and its cracked, not alot to pay for a new one but on the hunt for a decent used downpipe with sports cat.
