Hey guys, sick off paying £5 every week for my car washing. Can some recommend a decent pressure washer that has good power and some good features.
Budget about £110 - probs from ebay - just not sure what the good makes are and what specs i should look for.
Thanks

A few lads on here recommend nillfisk. They do a c120 model that is in your budget.
More reliable than karcher.

Nilfisk C120... fantastic.. and cheap!
-
I'd recommend http://www.cleanstore.co.uk/

I bought the c120 for around £89 rather than the £99 it is now priced at. Think about buying it from the likes of Argos so if there's a problem, you can take it back.

Another nilfisk owner here too. Not had any problems yet after 3yrs of ownership

I can also recommend the Nilfisk. I have one of these and is well with in your budget. Could also treat yourself to a foam lance and some snowfoam with the extra you have left.

Yeah that does look like good value. Which snow foam do you prefer? Got any links.

I bought the c120 a few months ago. Been great so far :happy2:

That's looks like a good buy
Does the one in the link come with the snow foam lance?
It appears to be in the pic, but cannot see it stated in description anywhere? Unless I've missed it!
-
No. You will need to buy your own snowfoam lance eg http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/elite-heavy-duty-foam-lance-6-types-of-fitment-and-free-1l.php?cPath=82

I use Magifoam with the Autobrite HD foam lance from here. http://www.autobritedirect.co.uk/ (http://www.autobritedirect.co.uk/)
As for the one that comes with it I wouldn't bother. I heard they are not very good so just got the HD lance.

I also got the Nilfisk C120 here.. http://www.cleanstore.co.uk/products/Product.asp?ID=999
When I got it was on a cracking deal with loads of accessories for about the same price, but still a great unit.
May just want to order an extended hose of eBayas its quite short and curls up all the time!

had my karcher one for 2 years I think and I drag it all over the place with no probs so far,,,, if you buy fro argos then you can spend another ten quid and get the instant replacement insurance, anything goes wrong in 3 years they will replace up to the value spent on whatever you choose.
better still isn't argos doing a free £10 voucher if you spend £100,, think they are.
buy the washer - complete the sale then immediately buy the cover for £10 with your new £10 voucher,,, you can actually do that lol and you don't have to buy the instant cover at point of sale, also the £10 voucher is immediately spendable lol
so free replacement cover on the spot for 3 years,,, cool
saying all this I may look into a hot water pressure washer once this one packs in or I may buy one soon anyway,,,, im thinking the hot water would result in a better clean !

I've had one of these for nearly 4yrs and it's been superb, may be a bit out of your price range so a C120 may do the job just as well.

I've a mate though that's just bought a 130 bar from one of Aldi's special thursday deals and he says it's amazing, paid £90 for it with a load of extras and comes with a 3yr warranty.

If you are buying from eBay there are loads to choose from. Trouble is all the good prices are often refurb washers with a very short warranty. 1-3 mths.
However, I managed to find one that came with a 1yr warranty and the guy that dealt with these refurbs lived only 10miles away. I met him, and he was a real nice bloke. He sold me a unit that had been returned because a lady had cross threaded the valve that the hose attaches to. It had never been used, it was still brand new.
He simply replaced the valve and I bought a 3.15 for £80 with 1yr warranty. :happy2:
One bit of advice is try to keep said valve well lubed. It's so easy to cross thread the plastic threads on the machine when attaching the hose.

I had a karcher 3.99m, great washer with excellent pressure...however it suffered frost damage and I replaced it with a Nilfisk C120.something, which is just as good if not better. ok, I miss the vario lance, but the nilfisk has a better flow rate (better snow foam results) and has a metal screw fitting for the HP hose :happy2:

Nilfisk C125 (125bar) with loads of attachments is only £99.99 at Argos!
