Over the last weeks have heard the DMF noise more and more with clutch feedback, today couldn't hear anything!!! Is this norm as I have bought sachs dual mass and new clutch (needs new clutch biting point very high) are DMF rattle/tick noise common to be very loud one time them quite the next? Whilst inspecting the engine bay listening for this noticed one of the air intake pipes had worked lose so reconnected it so could have this been the noise. Maybe me, but after connectinging this blimey the car feels quicker!!!!

I'd check with the guys fitting your clutch and see what they think  :wink:
