Title: Alloy wheel touch up
Post by: TomGTI on December 17, 2012, 09:53:09 am
I have the 18inch monza 2s but on 1 of the wheels i've notice what looks like a stone chip on the face of the alloy, it's only damaged the clear lacquer layer and the paint is fine underneath is there anything I can get to touch it up with using a small paint brush which isn't going to cost a bomb?

Thanks in advance

Thanks I've had a look on ebay but can't seem to find it is there anywhere else I can get it from, some pearl black touch up would probably come in handle too? :happy2:

I use the clear lacquer that came with my VW touch up paint.

Yes from a VW dealer. Some VW dealers also do online sales on ebay but in my case it was much easier to just visit my local dealer.

Have a look at dsgwagen shop. Even if your paint isn't listed for sale just ask him if he could get it for you.
