Title: 8x18 ET35 on the front of a Mk5 - Yes or no?
Post by: Shorty on December 17, 2012, 10:10:48 am
Might be buying some new wheels, they are 8x18 ET35. Will this fit on the front of my car alright? From what i've seen people normally run 8's in the 40 offsets?

No mate they'll stick massively out the arches and will Defo rub, 42 minimum, 45 good fit, 48-51 will fit like a glove as 50 or 51 is the standard offset

My summers are 18x8 et42 with a 8mm spacer making et34.
I run a 215 40 18 down low on ap coilovers and it only scrapes if you hit an unsuspecting bump/pothole
