Title: Hi from Aberdeen
Post by: smil3r on December 17, 2012, 02:39:16 pm
Hey,

Been browsing for a while now so though I'd say hi eventually. Any other members from Aberdeen?

Had my GTi since February this year and was managing to resist modifying it. Unfortunately got the bug about a month ago and it's now got FK coilovers, fully polly bushed, WALK, and should be receiving delivery on front and rear anti roll bars tomorrow.

Hoping to squeeze a few more ponies out it next year once Christmas is out the way

Anyone in the Aberdeen area needing vagcom for anything just give me a shout. I'll try and help out when I'm not offshore

Welcome to the forum, bud. I'm from Buckie so not too far away.
You home or away just now? I'm away - back on the 27th. Ba Humbug!
Fire some pics up when you get the chance.

Yeah been trying to contact someone on here about a blueflame exhaust but don't have enough posts for PM's

Definitely a handy site to be using  Helped me with a few issues I was having a couple of months after buying it.

Smiler,

Join EastsideVW.co.uk/board

The same guy selling the exhaust is on there and I don't think you will be restricted by post count.  If that dosn't work, I'll let him know you're looking for it and see if I can exchange numbers or something on your behalf.

Yeah I ordered the BBS's two days after owning it, just wasn't feeling the love for the Monzas.

Cool, I'll give that a try. Sent him an email via hotmail but not too sure whether he's received it or not.

Just got booked into Clark Motorsport on Friday for 4 wheel alignment  :driver: Hope the anti roll bar fitting on Wednesday goes to plan.

Any recommendations for re-maps? Was going to use Wallace performance but still not entirely set on them since there mapper Russell left. He mapped previous cars of mine and had full trust in him. Contemplating a trip down to PDT in the spring if I can't get no one up here.

I'll find out on Friday and let you know.

Least I know it'll be in capable hands letting them do it judging by some of the cars I've seen them with. Plus it's one of the few places around Aberdeen that has gauges that don't hook on over the top of the tyres.
