Title: Hello from Glasgow
Post by: marty77 on December 19, 2012, 07:01:03 am
Hi guys,

New to the forum and currently driving a mini cooper s but need more space due to the wee one arriving and always fancied the mkV gti.  Hopefully pick up some tips and get some questions answered and pick myself up a good un!

Cheers, Martin.

Welcome mate from another Scottish member. The MKV will suit your needs. I've got a 3 and a half year old (granted not as much stuff to cart around) and its spot on.

Welcome along Martin. Good manly, solid, dependable name you've got there!   :pomppomp:

The Mk5 is a great car. Do you know what your after yet, a GTI, Edition30 or Pirelli? All great and all winners!

Cheers, Martin  :drinking:

Cheers for the welcomes guys.  After a gti at the moment although I would love an edition 30 if the budget allowed.  I missed out in one a few months back at a silly low price, major regret.

Wilkommen!

I went from a Cooper S (R53) to an Ed30 and haven't looked back. I missed the supercharger noise for the first few days but the Golf is just such a more reliable car for me. Plus, 5 doors. Always a winner.

Dan.
