Title: Can High/Low pins.

Hey guys.

Im finally in the process of installing the wiring for my Xenon levelling.

I've just come to open up the canbus plug and find the twisted pair, but they are not twisted. I've un-taped about 4 inches, and pin 6 and 16 wires just disappear without being twisted.

There are some that look as though they are twisted, which i think are something like pins 8 and 15.


Can someone please confirm the correct pins as im now confused. Its started raining and i've got the scuttle off and canbus lid open!

don't worry about the pin location

look for an Orange wire which has a black stripe (CAN+)
and an orange wire with a brown stripe (CAN-)

I found it easier joining on to the Drive CAN wire on the steering column

Thank you. I shall go and have another look if the rain dies down. But on my initial look, there seemed to be 2 or 3 of the same colour - are they all the same thing?


I dont thinking connecting then will be the problem, its just getting the right ones.

you obviously want the same set, they will be twisted but maybe not for the first 5 cm

Finally got it sorted. Took the car round to the parents in the end to get it under cover.


It was pins 6 and 16, they started the twist almost 6" down the loom.
