Title: warning lights

hi all,

My ed30 keeps bringing up the tyre, ESP and ABS warning lights. i have checked all my tyre pressures and the seem fine. not sure what else would cause all 3 lights to come on. it had only done it once or twice since i bought it 4 months ago but now keeps coming on most times i am out. any ideas as this is my first vw and am still getting use to it.

I would get it vcds scanned asap and hope it's not your abs unit...

Think the faults g201.

If that is the fault code that comes I'm sure vw were replacing the faulty units for free?

I'm sure someone will be along soon to correct me if I'm wrong  :happy2:

I fixed one the other day with the same symptoms, turned out to be a faulty ABS ring on one of the rear bearings.

As above best get it checked out with VCDS first then go from there

The code that I got up was:

00290 - ABS wheel speed sensor
   003 - mechanical Failure - intermittent

was it much to get fixed?

Just the price of a wheel bearing, can't remember the price of it though. I'll ask the guy I did it for how much the bearing cost him.
