http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ferrari-F430-replica-kit-car-stunning-example-carbon-fibre-/200866668873?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2ec4962149#ht_1650wt_1106
came across this randomly on ebay....
The way it sits on those wheels is absolutely horrendous!! :surprised:
-
What a heap-a sh*t
-
What a absolute heap o junk haha even Gavin from autoglass could not fix that cracks n gaps
It's just the worst copy ever and really bad wrapped
The exhaust don't even sit right at rear and on a 430 they come out straight not angle lol
Would ask him to pay me to take that away
It's rubbish copy's make the real thing bad
Hahahaha can't stop laughing
-
Oh my god
-
my eyeeeeeeeeeeeees!!! that is horrid
-
£5,500 starting price? What planet does this guy live on? Not worth more than £20.
-
It says stunning and I am indeed stunned.
-
Stunningly rubbish  Check the wipers out
-
HAHA! Saw this quite a while ago. Dont really know why he's still trying to sell it...cause it ain't gonna happen!
-
Cheers OP, this has really made me laugh! The description is without compare - he/she/it states: "Unlike other versions of the car, this has been based on an actual Ferrari F430 and is 100% accurate outside." Furthermore he/she/it adds: "Other kit cars based on other donors tend to be scaled down versions, but this is as accurate as they come." (My italics).
You have to love this!
:notworthy:
-
"The car has been wrapped in carbon fibre, which shows a few creases, but nothing majorly noticeable."
"The car is in immaculate condition inside and out and is a must see as it oozes class."
"Because of the arc of the windows they have been fixed in place, but someone with a mechanically minded friend will always be able to make them go up and down." One of the traders on here should be able to sort it.
-
Why-o-why-o-why!!! God i'd love to see this in the flesh just to see how bad it really is. Years ago when I had my mk2 vr6 me and a mate pulled along side a fake 355 ( mr2 I guess) and just sat there laughing trying to get him to boot it. must of been worried about panels falling off
-
The wrap is f*cking brilliant when you zoom in!! Lowering springs!?? Must have raised it when competing in the Dakar this year! :surprised:
-
Love it, love it, want it!! I wonder if he'd do a trade for a lowly little Eddy!! :notworthy: :notworthy:.
Pure class that. 10 out of 10 for effort with the description. I wonder at what point during building this beauty did the fella step back and say "OH YEAH, WHO'S THE DADDY NOW!!"
From the ad....
"Lowering springs have also been added to give the car the correct ride height."
"A quad-look exhaust system has been fitted to the car to give ity that authentic look and sounds amazing like the real deal when at the right revs."
"This car will be sadly missed as it has given me great times"
:signLOL: :signLOL: :signLOL:
-
I must save those pics for a few laughs at the Christmas party.
All that effort and then he's put tiny alloys on it. That said, I doubt larger wheels would suddenly make it a doppelganger.
Dan.
-
Saw this on ebay a few weeks ago - I cant believe no-one has snapped this up!!
from the ad:
"Due to the value of the car, I will accept a bank transfer of funds to pay or cheque or cash"
..... or perhaps postage stamps??
Rich

I reckon we should al chip in a £1 and get ourselves a "forum Ferrari". 20 quid should do it!
-
too bad bonfire night has passed

Goes without saying! :signLOL:
-
I don't think there are words to express how funny and ridiculous this is .... at least I can go to bed laughing inside now
-
"Due to the value of the car, I will accept 1/2 a Twix or Kit-Kat or Twirl, providing the chocolate is brought on the day of collection. The buyer can collect the car once the chocolate have been successfully eaten. This is to protect both the seller and the buyer."
-
just noticed the car battery in the passenger foot well. I hope he never rolls it when he goes off roading...

Well in Monte

Quality of the vinyl wrap is amazing, the lights (LED's no less), the diffuser and the exhausts sticking out sideways just make this a win win for me. :notworthy:

Pahahaha! What a load of sh1t. Look how high it's sitting!
-
EPIC FAIL!!!!!
:signLOL:
He might get £100 at the scrappers
-
Although I do not strictly agree with the concept of replica sports cars based on MR2's and 406's etc, It must be said there are some amazing examples out there..... This sadly, is not one of them!!! :rolleye:
-
I cant get enough of this ad to be honest!! its a sensation.
The view count on his ad has rocketed too, i can just imagine him/her sitting behind his/her carbon wrapped laptop (with ferrari badge) rubbing their hands together in anticipation of the bidding frenzy that is just never going to happen!!!
-
Whoever buys it should pay for it with fake money

Reminds me of that Indian bloke in that Peugeot ad ( I think)
-
The one who shapes his car into a peugeot using an elephant? That was awesome. Except it became a peugeot.
-
not long to go till the auction ends
I'm watching it in my ebay, as many others are.
He probably thinks there will be a bidding frenzy come the last few seconds :signLOL:

-
Cant believe it sold! :surprised:
The buyer might turn up and realise it isn't as advertised and walk away from the deal, either that or its some 17 year old that will be driving it around at 279mph  and pulling handbrake turns in a retail park.
-
Cant believe it sold! :surprised:
I bet it is back up for sale next week
who in their right mind would buy that
-
God that Barryboys link brought some memories back! Thankfully these type of sights are becoming a rare occurrence!!
