does any one know if the trim round the tail pipes on the oem ed 30 rear bumper can be taken off seperatly ??????
-
i think its a one piece assembly mate. what are you thinking of doing?
-
....
Hi Ian,
The part you are referring to would normally be called the Exhaust Trim by VW but the Ed30 is all one piece with what they call the rear Spoiler.
If you are planning a different look, you could vinyl wrap that part as Phil Mc has done but it needn't be carbon vinyl.

cheers guys , i ve had it wrapped already in carbon but not 100% happy with that bit !!! was thinking if that piece came off could get it wrapped sepperatly or even spray it matt black

i was just admiring it at the weekend mate, i thought it looked fabulous! what is it about it you dont like? as im thinking of maybe doing mine soon
-
just the way the wrap finishes round that lip , to be fair it looked very tricky to do and it does look ok im just a perfectionist think i m going back to get the front lower lip done so might ask him to take a look at it again , the look is great better than the "real "cover on the front grill imo

hi mate,
Where did you get that grille done like that? Think it looks ace and would love it myself as going off the idea of sticking the carbon fibre one I have on and this one looks nicer IMO, also how much was it? Thanks :innocent:
