no specific letter at the end

the newest 5K0 ends in D
the newest 7P6 is L i think
the newest 3C8 is C

as you had a 5N0 the 3C8 uses a stronger antenna and not the actual phone one

Will it not connect full stop? We had to kick start one the other day by making a phonecall.... Before that it wouldn't recognise it's connection.

Ok. I only ask because when we paired the iPhone to the 7p6, the Columbus said it wasn't connected. Needed a kick up the ass to work. Works perfectly now :-)

I think when they struggle to connect the first time, on some had to unplug the module, re-connect it and lock / unlock the car.

5k0 and 7p6 are more or less the same

3c8 is the premium version

I had a 5K0 in my skoda for about 3 weeks, it was a good kit. I have now upgraded to a 3c8 box and it reads out text messages
