Hi I have a rns510 and I think it needs an update as sat nav keeps losing my position, no idea what software I'm on or can gateway, forgive me as I know there is a guide on updating these but it means nothing, if someone could just point me in the right direction I would be so great full thank you. James

Sounds like a faulty GPS reciever to me..
Only ~£10 for a new on on ebay :happy2:

Ok, the only information I have is my radio card witch says its rns510 mfd3, if anyone can help with that. Thanks

The part number should be on top / the side of the actual unit or you can scan it using VCDS. You may be best PM'ing Golfman (Scott) for some advice, he helped me when i was updating my own unit.
