As per the title really, any reason why a milltek for a mk6 gti wouldn't fit an edition 35?
The old man fancies a milltek on his ed35 but doesn't want to break the bank, and there's a used mk6 gti jobbie on eBay..
Thoughts?

Have you tried comparing the part numbers? The catbacks may well be the same
Edited as SteveP has confirmed the Milltek downpipes are interchangeable between EA888 and EA113 2.0Ts

I'm sure this ^ is correct. Different front pipe (S3), but the system is the same. The part numbers for the Milltek for the CAT back are the same as the standard GTI bar the tailpipes have the ED35 logo. Mine is being built as we speak and should be here in January :happy2:

Thanks guys. Might be worth a punt then...

Downpipe and connecting pipe are the same across TSI with IHI Turbo and TFSI withK03/4 turbo for the Milltek range :happy2:
The catback on eBay will technically fit the ED35, just the tailpipe trims would be different (proper ED35 Milltek has trims that are engraved with the Ediotion35 logo) but will still fit.

Thanks Steve.
