Just thought I would come on here and vent really!
I Missed out on an R32 gear stick earlier today by a pound in the last 2 seconds due to my phone loosing signal and not taking my bid... it went for £35.21 in the end my bid was obviously a pound less and I was in the process of increasing before my phone lost signal in the final seconds...
Just wondering, firstly which one of you feckers on here won it as I now hate you! :signLOL:
Haha no, just wondering how much I should expect to pay for one in the future and how often they come up?
OR even better who has one for sale?
:)

This made me chuckle  It wasnt me don't worry :happy2:
-
You might have lost it by £100 mate, the £1 is only bid increment, the other buyer may have bid £100+ for all you know :happy2:
Worry not, im sure others will come up.
-
Doesn't the MK5 R32 have the same gear stick as the gti?
-
R32 gear stick for sale offers over £60 :P

Hence why I use a sniper
-
sniper???

There are websites that will put in your maximum bid for you up to 2sec before the end of the bidding. This prevents a last minte bidding war and also means if you forget or at work etc you don't have to worry.
I use Goofbay (seems to have changed it's name to Goofbid)
-
I shall investigate this as its literally the baine of my life missing things on eBay - P*sses me off!!!
-
I use www.bidnapper.com (you can get a free trial for a few snipes, then you pay, not so much a problem for me as I am on Ebay for 3-4 hours per day and generally use 2or 3 snipes per day ) have done for years, it is also a handy tool to use to stop "Shill" bidders bidding against you, they cant bid against you if you only bid with 2-3 seconds left. :happy2:
-
^^^^ me too re Bidnapper. Shill bidding appears to becoming more prevalent on eBay, you know it's happened when a Second Chance Offer turns up in your email!
Always makes me smile when you win an item by 50p-£1, just need to put in yor max bid and you might be lucky and win it by pence. Always "seems" that you lose it by pence but you might have been outbid by £50, you'll never know.

Goofbay used to be good for checking out competition bidders and finding out shill bidders but they stopped that a few years ago (Managed to get 2 sellers booted from Ebay as they bid on each others items and used to regularly use my item pictures), seems Ebay dont want you to find them easily (bottom line shill bidders increase enf prices which in turn increase Ebay's final value fees, no brainer for them, THEY IGNORE IT :fighting:)

Ha ha, second chance on an item, you can K155 my a$$ mate, I will wait for you to re-list it instead, oh and by the way Ebay are watching you as a suspected shill bidder :signLOL:, funny the second time it auctions it never gets anywhere near what it did the 1st time..........wonder why that is? :signLOL:
