Title: 2005 Highline dash
Post by: Shabba168 on December 28, 2012, 05:24:35 pm
My car is early 2005 and I have found a dash that is dated June 2005 but the sticker with the part number is torn. Any idea if this will be ok

Haven't checked the part number on my dash yet

if it is a highline, any version can be fitted to your car

Why is this? Will any highline fit my 1.9 TDi 2005? Currently has Midline

It all depends what version you have and what you've bought. Just found the guide

Lower part numbers can't be fitted to cars with a higher original part number. So 9x2 can't go in 9x4 be it highline or midline.

i have seen a 971 fitted in a car that had 963 originally

I believe that's the theory, but in your case Eddie, anything is possible!
