Title: xtec number plate bulbs not working 05 gti

Just bought my new car MY05 gti and started transferring parts from my old car over too knew one.

I had the LED bulbs in my 56 golf mk5 fsi match and they worked perfectly. Just put them into the GTI and they didn't work, checked both bulbs and neither work, put one back into the match and it works!

Any ideas why?

putting in right way round?

My mk5 r32 ones didn't work in my gti though the replacements did... weird one...
