Title: Red gti badge front

after a red gti badge for the front grill, had a look on oemplus but prices are shocking!! anyone had a look at these on ebay??

would it do the job if i pick the gti off the plinth and stick the red ones on??

cant get the link working but theres a few on there quite cheap,not sure if there the same as the ones on oemplus, look the same tho!

yeh cheers rich thats the one. anyone tried em?? also how do u get the 'gti' letters off the boot? will it peel the paint off?? thinking about red letters on grill and boot

theyre just stuck on, dental floss or cotton behind them will remove them  :happy2:

They're sh*t. Mine are from this guy and the red bit is a sticker which lasts all of two weeks before it starts to peel off the plastic bit on the badge.

take your time with it, but you should be fine  :happy2:

dental floss has been recommended by loads of other people so I give it a  :happy2:

You'll still need to polish the area afterwards to get rid of any residue.

My rear badge got replaced under warranty and they stuck the new one on pi$$ed so I bought ANOTHER one from the dealer a few weeks later, only to notice when I was doing the 3rd badge they pulled paint off with it under closer inspection! So be carefull!
All covered up now with the new one.
Anyway can't you just buy this red badge from the dealer????? :confused:

im not sure to be honest, but i think it only came in red on US gti's. the only place i could find any was oemplus & its summat stupid like $100!!!

just bought this one. £16 so ill take a punt & see wot its like :happy2:
