Title: Broken (now sorted)
Post by: gazon69 on January 03, 2013, 08:47:37 pm
My car has failed me for the first time in 3 years tonight. Had it booked in at statllers in two week time for a few bits and bobs, gone out to pick up a takeaway and the bugger has just cut out. No warning nothing. We have an idea of what it could be, being the in tank f/p. The reason for this is it has been throwing its toys out of the pram when being given the beans as I have been getting fuel cut at high revs when changing gear.

Has anyone had any similar problems or has anyone had to have their in tank pump replaced, not that i have read anything on here mind.

Cheers Gaz

Mine failed. Although it was just random when it cut out.
I just kept trying to start it, eventually it gets going, not for very long mind!

picked a walbro uprated one up today. Flows a lot better than stock apparently. Got it all fitted up and now its a case of  :driver: old one must have been shagged. It feels as quick now without the meth on as it did with. Is it as quick? Maybe its just placebo, maybe not.
