Is it possible to reduce the level of assist on an 07 car? I read that it's only possible pre 07, but it was a US website.

I looked into it and this was the conclusion I came to. Could only be done on the earlier models.

I never understood the 'values', because on my Dutch 2005 gti the value was '12'...
