Title: Light alloys
Post by: Peskarik on July 05, 2009, 08:16:53 pm
I am keen on OZ Alleggeritas 8x18 in black for my white Edition 30.
Not cheap, but very light weight (below 9kg a pop).

Are there any other alloys in 8x18 out there that are lighter than Alleggeritas? (I mean usual alloys, not carbon-fiber, titanium and other such things for those with very thick wallets).

Wouldn't think you could get a set of Alleggeritas too cheap?

Speedline Turini's can't be far off 9kg each?
Tony_Danza swears by them and I'm saving for a set

TD Pro Race 1.2's are around 9kg a wheel (JonnyC has a set)

Me too, but they aren't as light as Alleggerita's 8)
