welcome along mate. what BHP are you running with the mk4?
its got a serious intercooler on there!
-
Welcome along matey - am sure you will enjoy being on the forum - great place to be.
-
Welcome to the forum buddy nice colour :happy2:
-
Welcome along matey, both cars look great. MK4 Anni is one of my fav's
-
its not an anni though! but its very anni-esque! ;)
-
ye i havnt got it anymore i sold it for the mk5. but it had a full milltek decat, sachs clutch, green cotton filter, coilovers pro alloy front mount intercooler and piping and a jabba sport stage 2 remap. she was 190bhp with 360 lb.ft torque. and as you can see an anni kit. lol the standard clutch and turbo didnt last long. thats why i went for a sachs one. it was a proper giggle though the torque would almost pull your head off.
-
looking good dean :happy2:

Sounds like a pretty good MK4. TDaiiiii! Did you ever have to replace the box?
-
my Anni had the same power figures and the clutch was always fine! strange!
-
looking good mate :happy2:
i miss my silver mk4 gti :sad1: should have kept that one
-

na that was fine
-
So the people saying "your transmissions only rated to 260lb/ft" were really talking rubbish! I had 2 PD's, both with around 300lb/ft and they were faultless...great engines!
Sounds like you had lots of fun in the MK4, whats the plan for the MK5?
-
ye the mk4 was great. i loved the soot to. peoples faces was priceless when they get behind you and u give it some. The mk5 ive already put a carbonio intake on and amd remap. im gettin a forge blow off valve on there 2moz i should get my us spec front grill 2moz to. then an exhaust either milltek or blue flame not sure what yet. the list is endless. i wont hold back on it if i can help it. :driver:
-
Whats the difference with a US spec grill to the U.K one?
-
Whats the difference with a US spec grill to the U.K one?
us one looks excactly the same but no number plate holes drilled in it for a smooth look. so i can relocate my plate
-
Very nice mate, a good upgrade :happy2:

hope you like

Nice car mate  264bhp from an intake and remap sounds a bit generous though, or is the AMD remap (or rollers )producing the highest figures?
Keep up the good work though!
Sam

i dnt kno thats what the rolling road print off says. i will upload it when i have time :jumpmove:
-
How did the mk4 feel compared to when you got the mk5 (unmodified)?
-
How did the mk4 feel compared to when you got the mk5 (unmodified)?
i dnt kno really its hard to tell they both deliver power differently. the mk4 put you in the seat more and pulled well in any gear but the mk5 is quicker all round. and i think the mk5 handle's better and the mk4 was on coilovers.
-
ok so after a few debates on here as to what car to get i decided to go for this.

:surprised:
Well - you certainly chose well Dean!
I've been tempted to go down the same route although I'll never buy a house at this rate :ashamed:
That last pic makes it look very special indeed. Lovely
