Title: What do I connect the puddle lights to?

Going to be doing this tomorrow and am wandering if this is actually a plug and play mod now. What pins do I connect them to on a 5 door car on the front and rear doors?

It depends on what year your car is which will dictate what controllers you have fitted. Google mygti.com. loads of info on there for the different controllers and how to wore them up.

Its a 2007, beleive they are different for a few years.

you should have gen3 controllers...
its pin 18 and 19 on the front controllers for 12v and ground

i'll have to search for the rear pin numbers...

So its pin 18 is the 12v supply, and pin 19 is the ground.

So anyone wanting to do this it goes like this

Fronts are pin 18 for live pin 19 for ground
Rears are pin 14 for the live and pin 4 for the ground.

This was on a MY 2007 Golf 5 door.
