I dragged a Raleigh Burner out of a skip and got over £200.
Can't think of much I've bought for silly money, have watched a few and kicked myself though.
-
^^^^ £200!! Gave mine away (was about 30 years ago though). Would love one now to hang on the wall.

When i was upgrading my E36 convertible I managed to bag a FULL set of mint M3 black leather interior Vaders (ultra rare) for £200...all because the guy had spelt the title wrong. I've seen full sets of these go for a minimum of £800 in this condition
Also picked up a genuine set of original electric mint M3 mirrors in the right colour in excellent condition for £20 :jumpmove:

When i designed kitchens for a large DIY retailer, i was in a customers house planning a kitchen, I noticed a radio controlled car on the fridge. Turns out the customer was a debt collector and got this from his work, It was a 1/12th scale Tamiya Porsche 959 from the 80's. I had one as a kid. He built it badly drove it once and crashed it and never used it again for 3 yrs. I offered him £30 for it and took it home. I spent £50 on bits fixing it up and for a laugh put it on ebay for £320 (buy it now) had 2 offers on it then on day 2 it sold. Never did sell the kitchen but made more on the car than the commission on kitchen. Quids in!!

Have said this before on another post, bought an old RC car kit (Sand Scorcher) from a supplier in Lebanon (Was buying £10K of stuff from him at the time) , Paid £35 for it and sold it for over £2000 to a collector (in Germany I think).

I can quite beleive that, unbuilt NIB.
-
Managed to get a non res cat back milltek and standard cat for the golf for £90 delivered on eBay. Turns out it was from Volkswagen racing who where clearing out all there old parts.
-
I've had a few! I find that if they advertise collection only you get a really cheep deal! Whether you collect it or sort your own courier out!

I was told I could expect more but the guy wanted it and I wanted a new car so it went within 3 hours of listing it

Thats what I did with my dad's roofrack (Arranged courier myself for £9), it's especiallly beneficial if they live in the middle of nowhere or in coastal areas, ignore items from big cities as someone will likely WANT to pick it up and will bid it up

Fuel cap switch for a tenner

I bought a badly listed Japanese made Squier (by Fender bass) from the early 80s for £85, it ended up in Germany after I'd got my hands on it for £560.
There's loads of stuff out there if you know what you're looking for.
