I don't know what I'm doing
My shiny new SPS has arrived from Dave at PDT.
Am I supposed to plug it into my port on my car first and then plug it into my laptop to get my current Revo setting onto the software as one of the 3 performance settings?
I tried plugging it into the laptop straight off, but it came up with 'ECU not recognised or found'. I don't want to lose the lovely settings put onto it last month at Revo HQ.
The software already has 3 performance settings on it. Will my Revo setting automatically swap with one of these? I don't know what the Revo settings are unfortunately. :scared:

Connect it to your car and to your computer, You can then read the settings off the ECU, and change the settings directly.
Off the car you can setup the A B C settings.

Thanks Richard,
So I plug it into the car's serial port, and the laptop at the same time via the USB cable? Will the ECU settings then appear automatically in the software?

Connect to cars OBD port... connect to computer USB. Ignition ON!
Open REVO SPS software, where it says ECU, click "Acquire" and that will read the settings off the ECU.
-
Make sure it's switched to communication on the sps.

Yes, but it doesn't explain how to take info from the ECU, only how to put it onto the ECU from the SPS :P
