Curious to what people would value it at, best and rarest colour afterall
3. Door
Manual
47k
Leather
18inch monza
Colour coded
Arm rest
Cruise controll
Privacy glass
Xenons
Half line sadly
07 reg
If it was any colour other than white I would say 9k, but being white its obvs worth a bit more with the white craze.
Anybody got a opinion / value?

Sorry for hi-jacking, but may aswell join in on the thread :happy2:
I'm, trying to sell about the same spec but a 5dr Edition 30 DSG with pescaras and a highline with 56k on the clock.
either stage 2+ with the rns 510, or as stock

Doesn't white being the rarest colour just mean not many people wanted it in that colour?!

I'd still dribble over one all day long :P

Its ironic, they couldn't give white cars away and now VW charge £400 (or is it £200) for the privilege!
How times change!

:signLOL: it's rare as people thought oh white don't like white then when they realised how cool it looks thought crap should have bought white :P white kicks arse simple :P

I wouldnt have thought it would be worth £9k being a standard GTI anyway. Thats non candy white Edition 30 money.
Edit:
Actually, CAP value is £10,095, which im surprised about. Trade has it at £8300.

No it means at the time of buying ED30's white was just gaining popularity but now it is popular and they are sought after because unlike Red/Black/Silver there are not a lot of them around (I have never seen another Candy White Edition 30), but seen lots of Red and Black ones :happy2:

£9k for an Edition 30 would get you a 56 or 07 basic spec with high miles according to Auto trader
Better spec lower miles more like 10 to 10.5K and high spec late model cars £12-13.5K
Cap for my Ed30 is £12750 (Parkers £12880) and the Fact it's Candy is not even factored in :happy2:

Your car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, end of! :indifferent:

And that!. :driver:
All these what is my car worth threads are just daft. If you are unable to work out after 10 minutes research what you are likely to get for it then, i am sorry you should be put down instantly. And! And! and those who put these threads trying to be smart thinking they are getting more advertising should be shot too. Anyone looking to buy a car would look in the for sale section. In fact i would just shoot you all. :booty: :star:

Yes, but by browsing the autotrader and the for sale section, the cars range from between £10k to £13.5k.
Obviously I dont want to sell to cheap, but then again, dont want to price to high. I didnt start the thread, but merely joined in.
I know when I got my candy white car, it took over 6 months for a decent one to come up for sale, and when they did come up for sale, they were always around £2k more than the red/silver or black.
Now obviously it isnt going to be worth £2k more now, but I'm trying to find a rough idea of what would be possible to get for it :happy2:

Should still be shot. :signLOL:
I can count on one hand the amount of times people have under priced a vehicle. :rolleye:
If you are in no rush then you can chance your arm and hope someone comes along looking for the exact spec and is willing to pay over the going rate. Realistically it will just stay for sale until it reaches the normal market value. It is not Jenson Interceptor, there are loads of ED 30's for sale, enough to give you an exact figure give or take a few hundred. The problem is we all have emotional attachment to cars and add this into the price.
-
^^^^ had this same discussion (but about house prices) with my brother, a property developer, we all have emotional attachments to things such as cars and houses and ALWAYS over value them, no matter what the experts and markets suggest is the correct level of price.
I know my Eddy is worth £9k ish but I'd still try for £10k, let the prospective purchaser knock me down a bit and everyone's happy, same as when selling your house.

£9000 or less (because it's white).

Just love how everybody helps on this forum.
Any reply always seems laced with heaps of sarcasm :rolleye:

Off topic a bit , but did they do a 56 Edition 30 ? Never seen one :innocent:
-
^^^ What about the one that lad was trying to sell recently? The one with 'GOLF' written on the bootlid.
-
^^^^ very limited Edition that one!
