Boot Pop Kit Part Numbers below, the Bump Stops part number is now D not C. The prices have more than likely increased since I got these parts 6 months ago.
2x Skoda Fabia Gas Struts 6Y0 827 550 C £35.98 inc Vat for the pair
2x Scirocco (sprung) Pump stops 1K8 827 761 D. £9.89 inc Vat for the pair. Bits that you need most!
2x Seat Leon Ball pins 1J6 827 439 A £11.97 inc Vat for the pair.
A "How to" guide on fitting the Boot Pop Kit (includes fitting bump stops).......

Did you call dealers direct or buy online if so where's best to go ? I found the struts easy enough but the rest I cannot seem to find online ?
-
^^^^ You can get the pins and stops from TPS, the VW dealer or even from the Skoda parts seller on eBay where a few peeps have bought the struts from.

I have done mine about a year ago and I am very pleased:
This mod seems not to work very well in the cold... When it is below freezing I can never get the hood to open all the way when first opening it...
Boot Pop Kit Part Numbers below, the Bump Stops part number is now D not C.
What is the difference between D and C?
-
^^^^ no idea on the difference between the C or D Bump Stops but when I last looked on ETKA for someone it says D has replaced C. Mine are C and work a treat (in the warmer weather).
-
Other than the parts above and hopefully finding someone to run vag-com close to me on it would I need anything else to achieve a boot pop ? I've heard convenience controls needed or is this only on rare occasions ?
Thanks
-
^^^^ just those 3 parts (2 of each) and VCDS, nothing lest required. :happy2:
Mine (with a boot full of shopping ), works a treat.
