Title: V5 Maps Released

News over on VWNavi is that a Version 5 map disc has been released. After a user found that his brand new Touran RNS-510 was using V5 map software.

Part No: 1T0 051 859 H

But dont get too excited, early reports from some forum members are saying that they still use the 2007Q4 maps (same as V4).

Unbelievable! So it sounds like just a POI update.

I saw that too. Given the proximity of the last update, it's unlikely to be a 'full' update.

Are the V5 maps still the 'latest' or 'later' maps guys?

I got a disc with my RNS-510 that has the V5 maps on allegedly although I thought nothing of it and presumed they were either now old, or already on it. Seems not now lol?

Did have a disc with the V5 maps on (Cheers Jay  :happy2:) but unfortunately it's scratched beyond use, RNS-510 produces an error when its read.
