Title: Some awkward parts needs.

Evening all.

I have a 3dr GTi with leather interior - unfortunately, the driver side grab handle has come away from the door card!  It looks like the actual clip on the inside has snapped (what the grab handle clip clips into on the inside)  Off the top of my head, IIRC, VW quoted me £500+ to have it fixed.

Any recommended fixes for this issue?

I'll try and get some. I've had to use some extra strong double sided sticky pads to keep the thing down. It looks bloody awful!

The actual plastic handles are not expensive. Less than 15£ incl VAT. if its a replacement door card, plenty on ebay  :happy2:
