Are any of your guys running a suitcase delete?
I've searched on here and on YouTube so have a rough idea on how it sounds but would like to hear from people that have it done.
I'd love a bit more noise but don't want it loud and would like it to be nice on the motorway.
So....is it worth it?

I ran one and my vid is on youtube! Motorway was a lot like stock unless giving it beans. Felt the car breathed better but maybe a lost a tiny bit too much back pressure. All in all though I was happy :happy2:

Link to your video?... :happy2:
Are you not running it now? If so how comes.
Would be interesting to see if it causes any loss in power.
I will be going to see nick at r tech for a custom stage 1 map after I get it done.

That may help! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAVIqN78Yuo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAVIqN78Yuo) It hadn't settled and I'm pretty sure was running with a slight blow so at least you get an idea of the worst it can sound :signLOL:
I sold the GTI and got a Dieseasal. Had to cut costs.

It does sound good but I'm just worried about chopping the backbox off and not liking the noise lol.
Fcuk it....il give it a try lol

GarethB on here ran one and it was very drony IIRC :surprised:
Try YouTube for some videos :happy2:

That's what worries me.
Although I don't do many motorway trips anymore. Decisions decisions!

:surprised: Named & shamed
Was a bit too boomy on motorway for my liking (but then i do prefer things to be more subtle).
It is a cheap way to get a bit more noise and larger exhaust tips tho - so a bit of a marmite mod imo.
I wouldn't let the chopping aspect put you off - you can always revert back to standard if it's not to your taste

I have one of these on order. How easy are they to fit? I'm guessing you just take a hacksaw to the orginal exhaust?

Pretty easy to fit. Hacksaw won't really do it, angle grinder needed. If you're ordering new it should come with a reducer to make the Blueflame fit onto the smaller diameter original mid-pipe.

What if i was to run one off a non res milltek center section.
Would affect the engine performance ie back pressure, or throw a light on the dash
Would it be too loud.
