Auto Finesse Avalanche for me. Part mixed with their Citrus Power pre-wash as well, so gets rid of the grime without stripping the LSP. :happy2:

I'm new to the world of detailing, more of my sister area, but is something I felt my gti deserved! So thought my first investment would be a snow foam setup! I went for the autobrite megifoam as recommended by others. I got mine via a group by from detailing world here:

I ordered deal 5, on Monday at lunchtime and had arrived at 6pm Tuesday so pretty quick delivery. Had to wait until Saturday as no daylight left by the time I got in from work, obviously it was to rain all day yesterday but managed to find a breaking in the rain at 3pm ish.
It's a really simple process and fairly quick setup, think with a few more practices I could get the foam slight thicker but I was impressed with the first use, hear are some pictures of it soaking. (Didn't get any befores or afters as not only racing against the rain but also a flat battery on my camera so had to rely on phone camera)

Would defiantly recommend one, was noticeably effective as the car was fairly dirty before hand
-
Don't go too thick. Even autobrite recommend running the foam a little runny so as the foam runs down the car, it drags down loose particles with it.
-
Interesting I was trying to get mine thick

The aim of the snow foam is to break up the dirt and pull it off as it runs down the car, thick foam that just sits on the car isn't gonna do much other than look really cool

I've got some magifoam, been through about a litre of the stuff so far. Its great to loosen up the pre-wash dirt.
