Title: Eibach Sport Lines and Superpro ALK fitted. WOW Different Car :)
Post by: majinvash on January 14, 2013, 12:58:02 pm
Hi

Finally got around to buying and fitting them.
Thank you to any one who helped me out with advice.

All I can say is ride is near OEM but the handling is vastly improved.
The turn in and general handling spot on and it doesn't look like it has been slammed, to me it looks perfect.

So yes, highly recommend this basic mod which transforms the car.

Cheers

Mat

The SALK also reduces the Unsprung mass. I had the chance to test how the weight of the stock v SALK. Compared on Superpro's stand at Autosport International and each side must save around 2kg!

Nice to hear, definite next mods for me too, ride height still looks spot on and acceptable for negotiating speed humps and steep inclines i guess  :happy2:

Did you get the lower engine mount insert fitted too? I need to get one ordered and then hopefully do the springs/salk come springtime

Need to work out which one I need now :P

Looks like new but I will probably get it done at some point soon.

But the drive is worlds apart.

Was worried it would be lower than it turned out and bumpy, but its neither. The power steeling doesn't feel any heavier either.

I have just had the same done this past Thursday by JKM along with superpro front wishbone front bush and the lower engine mount insert. Agree it's a set of superb yet subtle mods and are how it should have left the factory IMHO. Can't wait to add some new dampers in the not too distant future.

After sorting the bits I have out this will be my next venture. Where can I get the ALK from?
