If you bought a KO3 kit, then this doesn't have a outlet for the DV meaning it wont need a bung.

If you have bought the k04 kit then it will need a bung to fit a k03 car.

If you have an edition 30 and have a k03 kit you need to replace the entire elbow that goes from the turbo to the maf.

k04 (notice the metal bit sticking out the elbow):

k03 (no metal sticking out the elbow)

Yeah that's the only difference between k04 and k03
My tip for doing it would be wrap your silicone pipe in masking tape then fit the kit in place first (doesn't need to be secured) then mark the spot where the bung should be.
Then remove and cut with a sharp knife.
If you cut a small X then once you've pushed the bung through trim off the excess.
I done my bcs kit a few weeks ago and it works perfectly.

On the itg its the silicone pipe that takes the bung.
