I won a pair of porsche calipers advertised as Boxter fronts to do Dave's brake kit, but in fact that they are the rear ones (Part No.352). Before I contact the seller I just want to know if there is any possible way of fitting these to the Mk5.
Thanks

Its not advisable... return them to the seller.

Thanks I'm on the case now.
Just gave them a bit of a wipe and the full part no. is 996.352.422.

Really feel for you fella. It's gutting when you buy something purporting to be one thing and it arrives and turns out to be not what was advertised. Get your money back ASAP. :happy2:
From a post in DaveB's NQS BBK thread....
Just a brief explanation of part numbers:
First three are the model number 986=Boxster, 996=911, 955=Cayenne
351 = Front brakes
421 Left Caliper (odd numbers) & 422 Right Caliper (Even numbers)
Dont buy anything with a 352 in the part number they are rear calipers and the pistons are too small for a Mk5
And the 996 part numbers for the front are....
996.351.429 - Left
996.351.430 - Right
Great review on those by Tfsi-Mike.....
