That sounds pretty reasonable to me. Theres a garage near to me that does revo remapping but they charge 499 + VAT which seems a bit steap, I havnt looked in to it properly yet though so thought that might be the going rate.

Gains are around 40bhp over standard. Don't know about the torque but on their dyno I made 300ft-lb+ with precat removed and a itg intake.

You wont be disappointed with their service.

I know it is a bit irrelevant but I have been in contact with them for a stage 2 on my gti and they have said all in would be £350, so one can only assume stage 1 would be a bit less.

Just got to wait for my FMIC to arrive then I will be getting up there! Again, I have never heard if any one being dissatisfied with their work!!

All of those prices are absolute bargains  :happy2:

Hi Nick, whilst on the subject, I have been meaning to pop over for a bit of a chat. I'm already currently running DPF delete and stage 2 map but conviced it could be made better overall. In my circumstance would it just be the cost of the Spec2 custom map?

Your running a shark map?  It could be made better all you need to do is ask Mikko as Shark to make it how you want he is a very good tuner.   Looking at your graph you could maybe get a tad more midrange torque on the spool up to give a kick, but if it was my car I would leave it as it is, as it never going to be monster with the stock turbo.

216-220bhp is about max. Only tuner which claims more is JBS and they are stating 240bhp...... IMO Its Just Bull sh*t.  lol

I dyno tested a custom code / JBS stage 2 with dpf off at 189bhp & 320ftlb recently.

There numbers been like that for years.   The last two I ran 192-202bhp  320lbft which is what most see.

Thanks Nick. Yeah I'm running a shark map. Might be worth a phone call and speak to Mikko. Was interested in what you said a few posts back about peak power only being at 1 single rpm and a loss in peak bhp to gain a little more mid range would not be detrimental. Mine didn't have any custom mapping on the rollers at Shark but it's good to think there maybe abit more mid range torque to be had. I'm not one for chasing figures for bragging rights. Just want a good solid map that puts a big grin on my face  :driver:

I just spoken to Mikko and said they maybe room for more power and a tad more smoke.   He is a sound guy, u need to twist his arm for more power. Lol
