Right guys
Done a bit of logging this evening as I had a small flat spot at 4000 so found just before 4000rpm from 3400 up to 4000 the fuel pressure was specified 109 but was producing as little as 55bar but have no dash fault. Then it came back up to spec.
Just after the pressure came back up there was a lot of timing pull.
Anyway ripped HPFP out as I have a new one sat here and I have a APR pump sat here too.
Tried to undo the union out the bottom to swap into the new pump and it shears off as I have the older banjo style.
So I need to know if I can get one of these unions from anywhere? If anyone has a part number?
Also I don't have the blank that goes into the spare port on front of pump.

Someone will be along to correct me but I thought you could convert it to rubber flexi hose.

All sorted all parts availible from VW

....I was gonna say - Your old mate Graham Parkes at VW Loders could tell you.
Otherwise I was gonna ask you if my OEM pump was any good to you.

It's just the parts that swap between old pump to new one on early gti's
Thought I would have to convert to new rubber pipe.
Cheers anyway robin
