I've currently got a version A LCD skoda rns510 in my vRS, I've been offered a newer version A LED unit for a reasonable price,
Would it be better to try get a later revision LED unit, or is there any difference really, it has the latest maps and sw on it,
I'm not really bothered about having the latest available revision on the market, would like an LED unit though
Any help appreciated, as I'm not overly familiar with differences and advantages of each type,
Thanks

Also interested in the responses, I have an A unit with latest safe firmware (4020?) and maps.
Thinking I'd be swapping for the sake of it if I got a later revision.

newer versions will be faster i guess

I dont think they did version A LEDs. The LED Screen came in around version C or D

Really?
Here's the part number he is quoting, but he says it's an LED unit
3TO 035 680 A

It could well be an upgraded version A with a new screen. I would ask him for a picture personally!

Cheers, thanks for your help, think I'll pass on it and get a newer LED C or later unit,

Is it possible to put an SSD into an RNS510? Or is an A unit an IDE plug?
